Position Description
 We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a small multi trade crew and all installation, repair and upkeep a large sized production facility, Ontario.  This is an excellent opportunity with a solid company. Full-time and day-shift. Your goal is to ensure the production facilities/equipment are well-maintained to support efficient production operations. To be successful in the role, you are a team-player who builds positive work relationships. You are well-versed in Fabrication and construction equipment and general building maintenance processes.  You are strong in reporting, budgeting and vendor negotiations related to equipment maintenance. You will have a solid understanding of building systems and a general technical aptitude. 
 

Education
Experience:
  • Supervisory/management: 5 years (Required)
  • Production Equipment Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
  • Welding/ forming/ construction equipment
  • CMMS ideally Maintenance Pro 7.0

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Production Maintenance Supervisor or related role
  • Working knowledge of  welding fabrication equipment
  • Experience in planning equipment maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical and building systems
  • Ability to manage service/equipment vendors to ensure quality and value is delivered
  • Ability to track and report on maintenance and inventory activity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications preferred
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Industrial trade certificate of qualification (Industrial mechanic/ electrician)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs with bending and stretching
  • Able to work overtime if required
